Winners of this year’s prestigious Shaw Prize will share their research journey and scientific insights with the public at an exhibition at the Hong Kong Science Museum. The exhibition will guide visitors through the work of this year’s winners, who have won acclaim from international experts and their peers around the world for their breakthrough achievements in astronomy, life sciences and mathematics.
The 2023 hk prize will be awarded in December at an official presentation ceremony at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The winner of the award will be given a chance to present their ideas to key stakeholders in the development sector. The submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprising representatives from the private and public sectors.
The first-place prize of HK$200,000 will be shared among the winner and their team members. The second-place prize of HK$200,000 will go to the team with the most creative idea. The third-place prize of HK$100,000 will be shared among the member and their team. There will also be a special HK$10,000 prize for the team that provides the most original and interesting presentation style. The prizes will be presented by the Society for Global Hong Kong Studies.
